On 22 March lots of wonderful volunteers joined the Cowden and District Horticultural Society and tackled the heavily overgrown car park and various other neglected areas around the hall. Together they made a huge improvement. The car park is so much bigger than any of us remembered, the overgrown bushes were removed, blocked drainage channels cleared, grass verges restored and some lovely flowers were planted.
